The search for the perfect pair of wedding bands can be daunting and difficult. Solitaire or simple? Silver or gold? Do you get something that complements your engagement ring, or replaces it?
Well, for those still searching, Japanese car manufacturer Honda might have the rings for your big day.
Japanese jewellery company U-Treasure has revealed its latest series of platinum rings, produced with licensing and branding from the carmaker behind the Accord, Legend, CR-V, and Element.
On the outside, the platinum rings are minimalist and plain. They’re completely inoffensive. Until you peek inside the band, that is.
Inside, those with an unhealthy Honda obsession can choose one of 12 different Honda logos to be engraved within. These logos range from a standard Honda ‘H’, to multiple Honda logos from previous generations, to the logo for the brand’s diminutive Beat kei convertible.
Those with a particular fixation on Honda’s mechanical history can even opt for a dual overhead-cam VTEC logo. And, yes, if you feel the need to chuck in some kind of token engraving to appease your other half, you can get up to eight characters engraved within.
‘I ♥ my CR-V’ also fits. Just saying.
For the privilege of wearing perhaps the single worst piece of branded Honda gear I’ve ever seen, prices start at ¥132,000, or just over $1,500 based on current exchange rates.
